8 things that make a woman feel like a woman
We all have different reasons why we feel like a woman, and what makes us feel that way. Here are seven things that make me feel like a woman, and can hopefully help you feel more like the woman you want to be as well!

1) A man who loves you
When it comes to making you feel like a woman, there’s just no comparison. The secret sauce to your lady feels can only be found in your partner. That might sound sexist, but it’s true. If he doesn’t show you love and support, if he doesn’t appreciate all that you do, then nothing else really matters—and sadly, you might start feeling more like an option than someone who is truly wanted in his life. A man who helps keep you on track: It’s not easy for women to figure out their career goals and ambitions when there are so many options and possibilities out there.
2) Bra
It’s a sign of her femininity and sexual appeal. The right bra can improve your confidence, posture, and comfort level by making you feel secure with your body. Wearing flattering undergarments gives you a boost of confidence that manifests itself in all areas of your life. A properly fitting bra can make you more comfortable in your skin and allow for more freedom to live your best life while still feeling fabulous inside and out. When shopping for bras, it’s important to find one that is made for your size and shape. Bra fitting specialists are trained to find bras with sizes based on both band and cup size as well as shape, weight distribution, height, posture issues and other factors to ensure proper fit.
3) A pair of jeans
Growing up, we’re told not to play with our food, wear white after Labor Day and other advice on how to be ladylike. When you take away all of these rules and regulations, however, it’s easy to see that there are some basic characteristics or activities that women value when it comes to feeling like a woman. According to an informal survey conducted by Cingular Wireless, most women who responded said they felt most feminine in...jeans? Yes!

4) Put on some makeup
Wearing makeup is a big step for some women. While it's easy to pick up some lipstick, mascara, and blush and just slap it on your face, it's not quite as simple as you might think. For instance, putting on eyeliner can be intimidating if you're not used to wearing makeup. Don't let that hold you back from feeling more feminine—simply pull out your favorite tube of Maybelline or grab an inexpensive pencil from stores or browse online at places like Amazon (I love Amazon), apply a thin line across your upper lash line and wing it out slightly at the ends. If you've never worn liner before, start with thick brushes or felt-tip pen liners instead of liquid formulas.
5) Lipstick
It's well-known in women's fashion circles, but still bears repeating. If you want to look feminine and feel feminine, then wear lipstick. It doesn't matter if it's natural or red—just wear it. When you walk into a room with lipstick on, others immediately perceive you as more confident and approachable. You might not believe it yourself, but other people do. You don't have to be beautiful or have model looks to be considered feminine, but if wearing makeup helps you get there then it's worth every penny (it can even save your life).
6) Mascara
No explanation needed. Many of us have relied on makeup to define our femininity for as long as we can remember, and mascara is typically one of our first products when beginning our makeup routines. But if you ask any professional makeup artist, they’ll tell you that it’s not about covering your lashes but about enhancing them—and no product does that better than mascara. Especially since there are many types out there for every style and lash length imaginable (the most common being plastic tubing mascaras), so find one suited to your needs and it’ll be sure to last through those late nights at work or after-work drinks with friends.

7) Wear heels
High heels help to create a feeling of power and femininity. They give off an impression of confidence and show people around you that you care about how you look. Society has conditioned men to believe women who wear high heels are more attractive than those who don’t, and wearing them regularly can heighten feelings of attractiveness in general. There is also some evidence to suggest high-heeled shoes influence your gait to create a more feminine stride. High heels help you better balance your body weight and strengthen leg muscles, which is especially beneficial for women in their 40s or older with weakening ligaments due to age or childbirth.
8) Earrings
If you’re looking for an accessory to complete your outfit, consider a pair of dangly earrings. They’re light and feminine, and they will add flair to your style. There are many different styles of earrings, so take some time to go into jewelry stores or browse online at places like Amazon (I love Amazon) and look at their selection. Find something that suits your personal taste; if you don’t know where to start, ask friends what they wear. Earrings are one of those little luxuries that remind women every day how special we are.
